Rosie turns 4 (in pictures)

Rosie woke up and said, "Am I taller now?  Maybe I can snap!  Owen, do my legs look a little longer?"  She chose her red twirly dress and striped tights to wear for the big day.

It snowed all morning. (It was snowing when she was born four years ago, too.) We opened presents and skyped and played.  Jack came home from work early.  He decorated the cake and taped up the dinosaur he had made for our (singular) party game. Around dinner time friends came over for chili and we celebrated our girl.



She's the best.

Do you remember that we used to have this cake a lot at Alaback family gatherings? It's great if you need to feed a crowd, as I did. Sweet and milk chocolatey, not super rich.
